Filler Post!

Hypothetically speaking, if you traveled to the North Pole and were to find the actual apex of the Earth and proceeded to quickly jog around that exact spot, could you not technically say that you have ran around the world? And not only that, but did it in a matter of a few seconds!

Beat THAT, ya prick!

  5. I'm not sure if that's how it works...

  6. I would have a feeling that if I did run around the world like that, the dumb girls in my classes wouldn't get it...

  7. Ha, you reminded me of myself when I was like 10. I asked my uncle why was it not possible to go back in time if you flew against your time zone. Now that I think about it, I was a little old to be asking stupid questions.

    Ha...(That would be cool btw)

  8. I'm not sure it'd be worth the journey to the North Pole, you may be eaten by a polar bear.

  13. I'd love to go to the north pole, and running around the world in seconds would be a bonus.

  14. Well, actually... ...no I got nothing

  15. I would feel like it was cheating even though it isn't.

  16. Heh, I'd say that's only running around the pole, not the world ;)

  17. that's cheating!...somehow :P

  23. lol ive thought of this before...yea i guess technically you could say that

  24. You could say that you ran around the north pole, but it wouldn't be running around the world any more than running in a circle anywhere else on the planet is. Sorry to burst the bubble.

  25. I disagree with The Suit. It is not the same as just running in a circle, but I think that you have to rephrase that. Something like that you have circled the axis of the world in that matter of a few seconds as this would actually be true.

  26. I think i may just have to do that...

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hey that's cheating, but I like the thought :p

  28. tbh id say no, running round the world implies you run in one direction until you've made it all the way round :P

  29. Ummm... well you wouldn't be running around the world.. just... running around the North Pole. Or, that you ran through all the time zones! Both of those things sound equally cool

  30. Hahahaha i think thats bending the rules a little :)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Wouldn't you also be traveling faster then time on earth, this is a confusing idea haha.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yeah, technically you would. That's really cool
